Desert Beauty

On my desert walk today, I beheld... A pop of hue in a sandyscape; Wild and solitary, groundward branching; Soft and prickly, mixing it up; Pink and yellow floweret; Little cottontail, blending in, His steady gaze a bit mystifying; An ensemble of leafy violet and fluffy sky.

While walking in the desert On a calm April day; Amid sage green so infinite, I spied subtle blooms. The rapid beating from a hovering bird, Transformed drab reflections to wondrous delight.
